Yoga of Breath

Yoga of Breath, also known as Pranayama yoga, is a unique and gentle yoga class that teaches participants how to still the mind through breath regulation while attaining deeper awareness of the body and mind. Join this online class to increase oxygen intake, release tension and to promote clarity of mind and feelings of physical well-being!

This class meets online every Wednesday from 11 a.m. -12 p.m.

This class is facilitated by Kamla Subramanian, an avid yoga practitioner for over 25 years. Kamla graduated from Annie Carpenter's 500-hr SmartFLOW Teacher Training and has pursued advanced studies in yoga and Pranayama through several workshops with renowned teachers. Having been through breast cancer, Kamla strongly believes that yoga (especially pranayama, or "Yoga of Breath") has been an 'extension of life force', immensely contributing to her well-being. She considers it a privilege to be able to share her passion with others at Cancer Support Community Los Angeles.
